A Day at a Revive Our Hearts Recording

Tuesday afternoon Je, Mommy, and I left for Niles, Michigan. Along the way we did some shopping. We arrived at our hotel around 5. After relaxing a bit, we walked over to Burger King to get a bite to eat. After supper we came back to our room and read for a while. From 7-10 we watched TLC. We watched 17 and Counting about the Duggar Family from 8-10. It was our first time seeing them on TV, and we greatly enjoyed it. Before that we had only seen them in person,(They were at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival). After an all to short night, we got up at 6 and got around for the day. About 8 we left for Buchanan, Life Action's Ministry Center, where the recording was. Nancy Leigh DeMoss taught on Revelation 3:14-21, which is the letter to the church in Laodicea. She recorded 5 programs in the morning, then 3 more in the afternoon. From 3-5 she did 2 Table Talk recordings. We had a delicious lunch provided by Revive Our Hearts. After lunch Nancy corralled the three of us into doing a little recording in the sound booth. You'll have to listen to find out if it's ever broadcast!! It was a delightful day of spending time in the Word and fellowshipping with like-minded ladies.

Piano Practicing, Piano Teaching, and Piano Recital

My life recently has become very piano saturated. A week and a half ago, I began practicing 45 minutes a day. Before that, I had always practiced 30 minutes a day. Also I have started working on a senior recital for the 26th of May. It has been a lot of fun practicing and working on perfecting songs, at least the recital is not for another 3 months! Tuesday I taught piano for the first time! I was quite nervous, but my mom and I prayed a lot for my student and myself. Each week, hopefully I'll become better at teaching.

The hardest piece I picked out for my recital is this one:
